Up and on the road by 0700 hours. Overcast and bit chilly at 42 degrees. Once again I donnned by rain gear; wore it all day and NO rain. Just a few sprinkles about two hours into the ride.

Saw a bald eagle near Ashland, Wisconsin, a nice little town on the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior. Overnight in Grand, Forks, South Dakota for the night - went completely through Minnesota, nothing so see there. Just very high winds. Stopped every hour or so to gas up since my fuel gauge is acting up. Just keeping track of my miles to make sure I don't run out of gas in the high plains!

Grand Forks is not quite as hilly as I excepted!
