The day started at 5.30am as we got ready for our flight from Amsterdam back to England. Had to wait a while for a tram as of all days it decided not to come when it was supposed to! Lucky we gave ourselves heaps of time to get to the airport. After catching the train we made it with heaps of time to spare. Upon arrival to the UK, we picked up the hire car and made the trip to Bourne. Stupid Garmin decided to play silly b*****s so it took a bit longer than expected. Was so nice to see Mike and Sue (parents of some good friends of ours) and to spend some time with them in their lovely place. We had dinner and wine by the water followed by a brandy back at theirs whilst chatting and watching the Commonwealth Games. So excited to be going to Glasgow on Sunday to see some sport!
