We started the day with a one hour bus tour throughout Salzburg, it was good to see some things we haven't seen before and learn more about the history, but wouldn't rate it. Walking tours are much more worthwhile. Next, it was The Sound of Music time with Panorama Tours. A 4 hour trip through the exterior locations from the movie - learnt a lot about the real family, things about the movie we didn't know and got to sing a lot! (Bek, not Jas). This was amazing, everything that we expected...loved it! Can see why it brings 300,000 tourists to Salzburg every year. Sorry Mozart, but The Sound of Music wins, easily! We followed this by a lovely 3 course dinner and concert which again (The Sound of Salzburg Dinner Show) included traditional Salzburg music and dance as well as more songs from the movie! What a day...
