Hi guys,

So we've just spent 5 fabulous days in New York! We saw an average performance from Missy Higgins on Friday night after arriving that day feeling a little knackered.... we didn't sleep for over 24hrs due to the time difference! Saturday we took in the Empire State Building, Times Sqaure, Madame Tussauds and toured Madison Sqaure Gardens where they play NBA, WNBA, NHL games and many concerts. We also took some time out to enjoy some of the beautiful parks in the city centre. We saw the Shrek Musical on Broadway that night - it was just as good as the movie!

Sunday we spent most of the day touring the Rockerfeller Centre, which included vewing the city from Top of the Rock and a tour through the NBC studios. We finished off with some shopping in the Diamond District. We spent the evening on a 2 hour sunset cruise around the Hudson River, viewing the many Bridges, the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan's skyline all light up in all it's glory.

Alot of things were shut Monday so we went down to Wall St, Brooklyn Bridge, World Trade Centre Site & Museum. We had a fabulous mexican dinner, this little mexican guy made us gucamole dip at our table.... cost us $11 plus tax but was worth it! We slowly got used to the tax added onto everything but it's not exactly a cheap place to visit! Tuesday we did some last minute shopping, took in another coffee and donut or was it cheesecake.... then had a champagne picnic for lunch in Central Park before heading to the ariport!

Overall we had great weather and lots of fun in a great city.... I loved it! Definately want to go back..... maybe to live.... who knows! You can check out some of the photos, I took heaps so there's just a taste for now until the jetlag goes!
