Spent 4 days doing nothing apart from what we wanted, first day we stayed around the pool and generally ascertained what there was to do. Monday we went with a couple of guides through the jungle and by the time we returned you could ring out our clothes so into the shower and back to the pool. Tuesday we went by boat to a conservation coral garden and did some snorkling, weren't allowed to wear fins in case you damaged the coral but it did make it hard work. Wednesday we were going to kayak up a mango grove but the tides were to low, the weather has been a little hit and miss particularly in the afternoon due to the cyclone that hit the area a couple of weeks ago. We spent the day on the beach and did some snorkelling from the beach as there is quite a good reef running along the sand bar. Decided the visibility wasn't good enough to pay for diving and the snorkelling is good enough. There is something nice about being in a tropical fish tank with the fish and quality coral with 30 deg of sun on your back. Foods been ok but we have been spoilt over the last few weeks although the fish restaurant here is very good. We did spot a large rat making an appearance in the main restaurant which Lesley mentioned to one of the chefs but we suspect they thought it was a Siberian hamster.
Leave tomorrow for Singapore before we return on Saturday.
