It's good to be back home.

Arrived in Singapore at 17.00 and caught the metro to City Hall a station in the centre, up an escalator into a large shopping mall and straight into the Fairmont Hotel, so easy. Spent 4 days doing nothing apart from what we wanted, first day we stayed around the pool and generally ascertained what there was to do. Monday we went with a couple of guides through the jungle and by the time we returned you could ring out our clothes so into the shower and back to the pool. Tuesday we went by boat to a conservation coral garden and did some snorkling, weren't allowed to wear fins in case you damaged the coral but it did make it hard work. Wed...

We were due to arrive at Kuala Lumpur at around 01.00 where a few passengers would disembark and the rest of us would continue to Singapore. We had our last meal in the dining car and we requested that we had a table for two as the other evening and lunch meals they try and mix you around which is fine as long as you get on. After arriving at 07.30 at Padang Besar the Malaysian border we sat until 10.40 whilst customs and immigration procedures took place. After lunch we arrived at the Royal Town of Kuala Kangsar.
