Sally-Anne Sorry your plans have had to change. Spookily we were due to go to Cairns & then spend 3 nights on Green Island, but a typhoon hit there whilst we were in Ayers Rock resort. We missed it out & diverted to spend longer in Noosa. I am really looking forward to hearing all about it xx
Patricia Goodburn Loved reading your blog. What a fantastic "Adventure" you both have had. A pity about the lack of photos ...... we will have to get together for tea and a photo viewing session! xxx
re: Final few days ....Sally-Anne Lovely blog Margie. We experienced scenic world in the fog & had it to ourselves, but still loved every minute. I have an ace picture of us on that scenic railway xx Agree Manly is like a step back in time, we walked round the headland to a lovely little cove & swam in the sea as it was safe. Have a safe trip home & need to meet up when you are back to swap stories xxx
re: Final few days ....Pixie Have you kept a log of how many miles you will have travelled in total? You seem to have been there ages!
re: Into the Blue Mountainsmaggie Such a shame you'll miss out on Cape Trib but you're just there at entirely the wrong time of year and it can't be helped. Cairns is a bit brash - farther north is nicer, but all experiences are interesting in tbeir own way.

re: Flying fox in Cairnspatricia Goodburn Caught up with you again! What an amazing holiday/experience you are having! I am enjoying every bit of it and wishing I was with you, bet you're not wishing to be back here in Mansfield! lol xxx
re: DougalMaggie Sounds wonderful. I never made it to Uluru, but I did spend a while in the middle of the Great Sandy Desert and still remember how fantastic the stars were with no light pollution at all - really got the 3-D effect instead of stars looking like dots painted on a canvas.
re: UluruSally-Anne Great blog again. We loved the walk around the base , it really is awe inspiring. Our Sounds of Silence. Dinner was cancelled as it had rained heavily during the day, but we had the food in one of the hotels. A rock view room sounds fab, wish we had done that xx
re: UluruSally-Anne Done it again & hit 3 stars rather than 5. Loved this blog Margie. We stayed a week in Glenelg & just loved it, got the tram in & picked up steaks & veg from the market and then grilled them on our BBQ. Safe trip to Alice & Ayers Rock xx
re: The sun sets on 2 days in AdelaidePatricia Goodburn Wow! I'm finally up to date with your blog, and loving it! It's also good to follow your route on the map.
re: Cuddling a koalaamanda G'day! Just caught up with travel blog . Glad you are having a great time. Look forward to reading some more!xx
re: Robe to the intriguing town of HahndorfSally Anne Still loving the blog. We had coffee & pie from that exact same bakery & ate it in the exact same park almost 4 years exactly to the day. Enjoy Adelaide, we loved the market & the Immigration museum xx
re: Robe to the intriguing town of HahndorfMargaret Thomas No, we drove past the World of Cheese but didn't stop so we missed it anyway! Xx
