Driving.. Today was another driving day as we make our way down the coast towards our final destination. Legoland. We drove through some beautiful countryside. However missed the ocean rd as the GPS took us along Highway 101. All the crops need to be harvested here so it was interesting to see all the workers out in the fields harvesting the fruit and vegetables by hand. After about 5 hrs we arrived at Pismo Beach. It is a lovely change from the dry and desert landscape we have become used to seeing. Our hotel is lovely. We went for a walk along the beach up to look at the pier, and found one of the best meals we have had since being here. Apparently the Pizza was the "best ever".....
