The last 2 days of our trip started when we headed South on the 101 towards Legoland. The kids had no idea we were staying at the "Legoland" hotel, so when we drove in the smile and excitement was amazing. I don't think Nick stopped smiling the entire time we were there. Chill and Choc got to do a treasure hunt to find the code which would open the treasure chest in our room (Adventure themed). Once completed they got a Lego Prize. They then entered the Lego Building contest (again adventure themed) where they won best team, and this was only the first night. The following day we spent the day in the park and the water park. Nick was in Lego heaven! On our last day we had a quick few hrs in the park and the Aquarium before making our way back to LAX. We made a couple of lovely stops along the way. Balboa Beach (at Newport) was a quaint seaside village. It was beautiful. Lunch at Wilma's was fantastic. We then made our way to Manhattan Beach for an ice-cream at the seaside. After a big day driving and sightseeing, our USA adventure came to a close when we jumped on our flight home. We had the most amazing holiday where we made wonderful memories and spent quality time together as a family. We are very lucky. THE END
