Day 1.... After a long flight we finally arrived in the USA for our adventure to start. We all got a couple of hours sleep so felt pretty ok when we arrived. Nicholas big blue eyes got us to the front of the immigration line once again so we cleared customs relatively quickly. We used the self serve check-in to pick up the car and we were on the road within 60min of landing. Chunky was fantastic driving on the wrong side of the road ( even with me saying it looked so much easier on TV). Our hotel is lovely with fantastic views of the Hollywood Hills and they had a room ready and waiting for us. A shower was fantastic after a 14hr flight. This morning we did a walk up Hollywood Boulevard ( a bit touristy and crowded ) then this afternoon jumped on a tour bus which took us through Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, West Hollywood and for a look at some of the "Stars" homes. I think Katy Perry's impressed Chill the most, Chunky and I liked looking at all the architecture and Nicko struggled to stay awake. It is now 3pm here ( 25hrs since we left home ), if we can stay awake for a few more hrs we will be ready to head out bright and early in the morning.
