So I had another great sleep last night! Slept in and had a slow lazy start to my day, I had nothing planned for the day other than to get to Hervey Bay. The drive was pretty uneventful, the country side nothing really exciting.....there was lots of evidence of past forrest fires....you could see new growth so obviously not too recent of fires.... I found a great little caravan park about a 5 min walk from the beach, I am staying here for three nights as I have a few tours I am going on over the next couple of days....there is a big lawn bowling tournament so the place is filled with a more mature crowd.....with a few jucy campas mixed in..... I went down to the beach and went for a swim....the water was warm!! Every ocean swim so far the weather has been cold!! I actually just floated around for the longest time.....it was great!! Found a little grocery store and picked up food for supper for the next couple of nights. I have given up on the fridge and have everything in the camp kitchen fridge. The camp kitchens are great....everyone shows up with their little baskets with the fixens for supper.....I show up with my cloth grocery bag!! Whatever works! The mature crowd were partaking in happy hour while I was cooking supper.....I think happy hour is now on happy 3 hours and they are having fun!! I did not take any pictures today so no pictures on the blog.....I took a day off from carting around the camera and just truly chilled out! Tomorrow I go on a tour to Fraser Island....it is a full day and I opted to go with a smaller group in 4x4 vehicles rather than a big coach with 50 people on it! Early to bed tonight as I have an early morning and long day tomorrow!
