Today was a Broomball day. We had two games, both against Australia. We won our first game 3-0 and we lost our second game 1-0. We played hard and the game we lost I think they had only two shots on net. The one the scored was on a break away. We played hard and we will meet that team again!! At the hotel here they have onsen aka hot springs up in the top floor. I went up and had a shower before going in. You sit on a little stool and shower sitting down. They have all the soaps etc to use. Then in to the hot springs. There are no bathing suits allowed and they have separate women and men's areas. I sat in the hot springs for a while and went to the outside one. It was lovely but very HOT! I have been shy to go but now that I know how amazing it is I will not be shy anymore! After the onsen I wanted to fall asleep, however we had a traditional Japanese meal planned with the team. I was disappointed in the meal. I thought it would be in a traditional setting but it wasn't. It was in more of a cafeteria type setting. The food was great though.... lots of different types. Sashimi.... lots of fresh seafood! Also all kinds of different pork, beef and chicken dishes. Food was great the atmosphere not so much. We have a game at 7am so it is early to bed for all of us! Last game in the round robin and we play against another Japanese team. We could potentially have 3 games tomorrow!!
