For us our travels are as much about the people we meet as it is about the places we visit and this trip has not disappointed.
Even on the plane to get here we met an interesting chap that told us about his out of body, near death experience and how he now believes there is a God.
Even yesterday we met a very excited couple in a cafe, he had just proposed to her after only going out together for two weeks, they told us about all the signs that pointed to it being the right thing for them to do.
We have also met more of Michael's relatives and learnt a lot more about his family, most interesting.
Tomorrow we will meet even more relatives when we attend Michael's aunties 100 Birthday celebrations, they are expecting 230 guests!
The other joy we get from travel is learning about and seeing the history, and England doesn't disappoint in this regard. We have visited places like Melton Mowbray, Birmingham, Nantwich and Sutton Park where King Henry VIII went hunting. We have had dinner in a pub that was built in 1250 and it is said that the highwayman d*** Turpin stayed there. We have walked along some of the beautiful canals and through some of the Public Paths through lush crops of wheat and rapeseed.
The down side is that we are getting over the cool and wet weather, so now the bike has arrived we are looking at heading south into France next week with the hope of finding some warmer weather, we will return in August and plan on visiting Wales, when hopefully it will be warmer.
