We decided to do a day trip to Litchfield as it wasn't far and the park we were at was good and in the heat packing up was not that attractive. So we set of early for Litchfield. It was a wonderful day seeing the magnetic termite mounds and swimming in bluey pools and then Florence Falls it was truly amazing and very refreshing due to the heat. We really enjoyed our day and we will go back when it is a bit cooler as there are some good walks and more falls to swim at but were closed due to uncleared crocs. Dinner was back in Darwin at the Star City Casino and we all pigged out on the all you can eat buffet I think we ate 2 kg of prawns between us.
