Today went for BIG WALK with the fire-brigade through the forest surrounding Nieste - it was really beautiful.

Following this was lunch with the fire - bridade. YUM!

Later in the day was the christmas-tree bonfire. On the saturday the fire-brigade goes around the town to collect all the christmas trees and collects a small donation for the brigade at the same time. Then on the sunday the trees are set alight - it really has to be seen. Yesterday Benny played Indoor Soccer in Sandershausen, a bigger town than Nieste and their bonfire was HUGE! YOu could see it from a mile away. Nieste, a community of only 2000 of course had a smaller bonfire but it was still spectacular and had to be seen! (P.S Check out the photos)
