Hallo Alle
Well been in Kassel few days now. Had my first day of classes today which was ... interesting. There were quite alot of younger students there, most of which were Brazilian, so they kind of interrupted the class alot which was kind of annoying. But then it was cool to speak German to Portugese speaking Brazilians at the same time. There are also a couple of Americans, and also some Saudi Arabia, Syria and Mozambique I think. Class dragged on a bit, but it kind of got better by the end. I spose I have to get used to studying again :(
Also had a ball in Kassel though. Both Bennys family and Marlene's family (Bennys girlfriend) are very friendly. Yesterday was Marlenes mothers birthday so we had Kaffee & Kuchen (coffee and cake) in the afternoon followed by dinner - yum
Typical questions to continue to arise
Whereabouts in Australia do you live
Is it hot
And Kangaroos
Is there many aboriginies in Australia. It is very interesting to note that they study more about Aboriginal culture in Germany than in Australia - something which is scary! Maybe something to be adressed by the future generations of teachers lol...
Anyway what else... Went to Enchiladas Bar in Kassel with friends from Bennys firebrigade - much fun! Bought tickets to Nieste Karnivale - should be fun! Also bought Harry Potter in German to keep me amused, as the book that Shannons mum bought for me - thanks Kathy - called Teacher man has already been finished. If anyone is looking for something to read it is an awesome book!
Enough of ramblings - Waffles are waiting for me for dessert .
Talk to you all soon - B!
