Flew from Dubai to Lisbon this morning after Josie dropped us off at the airport. A 7 hour flight got us into Lisbon at 12.30, caught the Areo bus to down town and to the Yes Hostel, very centre and you can see the Rio down the end of the street. Got settled and wondered down to the beautiful big bay, not much happening on it but lovely to look at, dipped out feet in it. Very warm 38 degrees we think so a local beer and cider was called for and then a rest on a lawn in the shade. Walked the cathedral and got my first stamp on my Camino passport, walked to the Castle, narrow streets with cobble stones, nice arty shops and bars along the way. Lots of tourist enjoying the weather we think quiet a few from England. Even got recognised from Rockingham one of BPT's patients what a hoot, plus someone wanted to know if I worked for Apple cause I had my Apple tee shirt on. Was hopping to catch up with Tom but to tried to stay up, may be in the morning. Worked out trains to Porto, Gael on to that, looking forward to a special Camino Reunion tomorrow evening. Gael enjoying all the free by creams and shampoo left in the dorm.
