So luckily to be here again on the Camino. Would recommend the Portuguese Camino to any one.
Have been walking a week now so day 7 and it was a 24 km walk today. Pretty country side especially under the shade of the grape wines across the path.
Had toast and coffees before leaving Pontevedra and before you knew we were half way. Stopped for one of those dealious natural orange juices which gave us all some energy and we powered along stopping for a couple of foot rests. Arrived here in Caldas de Reis about 12 pm walked past the hot spring foot bath and thru the markets set out in the middle of the street. Couldn't resist the chimico 6 for 1 euro enough for each of us.
Showered and then out for a drink and food next door sitting out side under the shady trees.
It's Saint Johns day today so apparently there is free fish and fireworks tonight. They had a practise run with the fireworks while we were having lunch. Some rain this afternoon perfect time to have a rest.
Met up a Spanish family travelling with their 9 year old son having the best time. And a man and his dog and the dog wears a small pack walks and rests amazing.
