Well were neraly coming to the end of our New Zealand journey now only one more Magic bus ride to go, last chance to pick up my possum skin socks.
Before we head off to Christchurch it was time for a little lakeside retreat at Lake Tekapo, and here we would get chance to chill out in gorgeous surroundings and get our best look at Mt Cook, NZ´s highest mountain. That was after we went on a little walk round some hills to get a good view of it. Jac wasn´t amused when i said it was only a five minute walk and turned out to be two hours leaving us in the pitch black, but its ok there is no dangerous animals not unless you count the rabbits...but something was leaving massive pooh droppings like in Jurasic Park, in NZ unless you would call getting sniffed by a sheep a near death experiance. Anyway the view was really nice once we finally got their just wished we could have stayed a little longer in these lovley surroundings if only to pluck up the courage to go for a swim in the lake, but I was too scared of my nipples freezing and falling off, then what would I do without nipples.
I´ll just point out that it is half four in the morning i have been kept awake by another snorer, sorry for the strange sense of humour XXX
I'm adding to this one Jones...4.30 is not a good time in the morning for you! Before I start though, we had a convo today about staying calm and just sleeping somewhere else if there is a snorer, Jones exited the room by slamming the door behind him thus waking everyone up, not the snorer though, then everyone lay awake for ages listenening to him breath...calm jones!
Anyway the place that we stayed in was a Lodge and pretty amazing, in the lounge there was loads of gorgeous sofas and a full lenght window with a perfect view of the lake, the outside area had a lovely bbq and was sorrounded by lush forest, it really was gorgeous and at night there was millions of star out to gaze at...PERFECT!
