Leaving chilly, windy, sunny San Francisco for 32 degrees in Yosemite national park - perfect weather for our red Mustang convertible!!!!
Managed to squeeze our massive bags in to the boot and one strapped in to the back seat. We headed out of San Francisco, via Lombard Street (The crookedest Street) on the Bay Bridge and on to highway 140 and Highway 99 where we stopped at a 1980's diner for some lunch ... Lucy's salad was bigger than her head!!! And we were the only 2 people there, but we are not dead which we thought might acually happen to us!!! The drive here was amazing, like something out of a movie ... managed to work our way through our backlog of old school USA tunes (Smashing pumpkins1979 was a hit) for the road tip along with half a tank of fuel due to mikes crazy driving.
It is hot here, and the Mustang is amazing, stunning in red! Big Yosemite valley walk tomorrow, early start! Mike is in love with the Mustang and keeps telling everyone in the campsite is is ours. We are trading in the Golf for it when we get back. Living the American dream in Glasgow!

Nancy You may joke Lucy but Mike,s mind will already be working on how he could get a Mustang in Scotland! You could join a Mustang club and go on Mustang weekends! X
