Short stay in Hanoi, we need to organise our trip over to Thailand. Went out and bumped in to the Chillian couple from Halong Bay and later into Lyndon the scottish guy from Halong Bay as well. Went out for a few drinks with him and decided to meet up for dinner at our favourite restaurant. (which is on the street, sitting on a 5 year old tea party table and chairs having a BBQ!!!) HALONG BAY - Christina Deluxe Cruise 3 days 2 nights Day 1 8.10 Bus arrived. Law was late! 8.20... Bus returned... Law was back and we jumped on a mental bus which drove off whilst getting on because we made him late. He then crashed into a parked motorbike and we had to watch an argument! 3rd thing... a fat indian man had dog s*** on his shoe on our bus! Were Here! 1726km later... we arrived in Hanoi on the 8th November. First of all sleep was needed after the hectic drive here, and then woke up to a long day of hard selling Roxanne! Hiiii Everyone We have done a lot of Driving since Hue (for the last 3 days) there haven't been to many things to do in each of the places we stopped except sleep and eat. We stopped at Dong Hoi, Vinh and lastly Ninh Binh. Dong Hoi and Vinh were very strange, obviously they are not the most touristy places but they all wanted to say Hi to us and were really overly interested in us. More than half way to Hanoi now!! :) Stopped at Hue for three nights. Had a great time, met lots of other travellers and drank too much, the place we stayed had free local beer 5pm-6pm and happy hour 8-9 sooo just enough time to nap in between!
