Hi,

So after nearly 5 weeks, Sydney has come to an end. I can't say I'm sorry to be leaving, but I've had a great time and out of all the cities in Oz, Sydney is by far the best.

After returning from the road trip, we made sure we got done all the things we hadn't gotten around to since being here. On the Tuesday, we walked the city, looked all around Circular Quay and then went to see 'The Pursuit for Happyness' at Cheap Tuesday cinema in the evening!! Wednesday, we did the Bondi to Coogee Walk as I missed it the first time around. In the evening, it was down to Darling Harbour to meet Anna (a girl beckki travel with) and her friends for a slap up meal in George's, the restaurant where she waitresses. It was Greek and we had lots of mezzenes to make up the meal. The food was awesome, loads and loads of it and absolutely top notch quality. A bit too much of the 'grandpa's favourate cough medicine' and we had a drunken stagger home to King's Cross.

Friday all of a sudden came around and it was time to pack up and leave our home! For the flight at 5.30, we left Kings Cross at around 2.30 and had an easy journey to the airport. No hassles checking in and before I knew it, I was sat in my seat tucking into the delicious cuisine that is aeroplane food. Hmm.... Not tooo bad as far as they go I suppose!

The plane touched down 9 hours later and we were back in the better land - Thailand!! After sussing out the new flashy terminal that has been built since my last visit, we managed to find the taxi rank and as it was late decided to take a taxi rather than wait around for the bus. It turned out that it was only about 50p more anyway - bargain!
