The next morning me and Gem got up early and found a hotel with sunbeds there. We saw 2 lads who sounded like they were from up North and after about 4 hrs they came over and said the classic travellers line "do you know where the good bars are around here?"... Kat and the other 2 girls from England who we met on the bus arrived in Vang Vieng as well but Kat had limited mobile network so we couldnt keep in contact. All the bars in Laos close down at 1...

When we arrived in Vientienne we gfound a hotels pretty much straight away and checked in. We are only staying here one night as want to get to Vang Vieng for the tubing. Met up with all the guys from the horrific bus journey and went for some drinks then headed to bed pretty much straight away! The next morning we went to book our bus to Vang Vieng (5hrs), and found out it was at 2pm, so all we had time to do was pack and eat and go. Im not too bothered though ...
