My birthday and I was woken at 20 to 8 by Yvonne and Phil calling to sing 'Happy Birthday'. I opened my cards and went to breakfast, where Yvonne was waiting. Barbara joined us a while later. B and I then walked a mile before camping out on the Promenade Deck to await our arrival at Pitcairn Island.

We arrived at about 10:50 and we circumnavigated both ways, so everyone could see it. It's very hilly and green and I wouldn't want to live there! It took us about an hour for each circumnavigation. There was a barbecue on deck 12, so we ate there and then played quoits. They sang 'Happy Birthday' to me. I got through to the final and lost 21-20. When I got back to my cabin Ray and Jane, a couple we met on the 2013 worldie had left me a bottle of rum.

Lost Individual Quiz too. We ate early in Glasshouse to celebrate my birthday. It was the six of us plus Norman and Lynda and Scott from the Ents team came too. It was a good evening and it killed the last of my on-board credit.

We then lost the Back to School quiz, but had great fun. Instead of the Syndicate Quiz, we sat on the back of deck 11 and killed another bottle of wine. Well, the men did, the woman just chatted.

Got to bed four hours earlier and soberer (?) than two years ago. A good birthday.
