Day number nine of ten sea days and it doesn't seem to be that long. Once again the weather is very hot. People are still laying out in the sun, but way fewer than a couple of days ago. Most folks are either indoors or in the shade.

I spent the morning sorting out photos and then sitting on the Promenade Deck reading and crosswording.

Lost in deck quoits. I managed to wash my Prize Passport and eleven gold stickers today. Luckily I remembered before too much damage was done. Not that it mattered that much as I lost the Individual Quiz by 2 points. We lost in the Syndicate Quiz too. In Masquerades they held the Love and Marriage game and Phil & Yvonne were one of the couples taking part. They lost, but Paul and Daphne the winners are teetotal and gave them the bottle of champagne anyway.

I was given some casino credit for my birthday. I didn't win on the roulette table but I did manage to win over thirty quid on the slot machines.

Formal night again tonight and guess what? The clocks go back another hour tonight, to GMT -9.
