I slept quite well. I thought I'd be awake most of the night but I did manage a good few hours. Got up at 7.30, an hour earlier than usual. My washing machine was grinding away by 8.00. After breakfast I packed my last case. Everything has just about fitted in and the case weighs a shade over 20 kg, so I think I'll be OK tomorrow at check in. There wasn't enough room for my suit, so I've decided not to take it. I could put it in a suit carrier, but I already have two to carry, and it's amazing how much a suit weighs.

Whilist packing, I found the trousers I'd intended to wear today. They were lurking behind another pair, so that's good news.

The washing is just about finishing, so I just need to tumble dry everything, iron the shirt and put it all away. Then I'll bleach the loos, turn off the water and turn on the heating, as per instructions from the insurance company and I'll be ready to pack the car and drive off to Southampton. I'm meeting a few people from the cruise for a drink and a meal tonight, so we won't all be strangers on board tomorrow.
