Well both my hippy outfit and wig have arrived. Groovy man! The wig doesn't appear to have been designed with a face in mind. It's just a headpiece with long brown hair all round. Luckily the outfit came with a headband, so hopefully that will help. I'd hate my wig to drape in my soup!

I've also bought a self-tie bow tie with a Union Flag design on it. It took me a couple of go's to get it right, but I think I've mastered it now. It looks OK. The black self-tie I can now do without a mirror. The other two ties are ready tied.

Debenhams had a sale today, so I bought another pair of trousers, together with the pair I bought yesterday and the ones I already had, I think I'm just about there for the semi formal and casual evenings. So that means I've only got to buy one more dress shirt and I'm ready, clotheswise. I'm hanging on for a couple of weeks as M&S have a cardholder day coming up and I have some vouchers I'll be able to use to get a discount.

Next thing to do is to decide which currencies I want to take and how much of each. I've got all but two of the birthday cards I need to write and stamp before I go completed. Both the birthday presents I need to buy are in hand. Well one is, Jan wants something from the trip. She suggested jade, so I'll have a look in China, Hong Kong or Singapore for that. Three chances to get it right :)
