It's New Years Day. I'm now officially going on a world cruise THIS YEAR . I've booked to send two suitcases down to Southampton with the Baggage Handling Company. I'm nervouse about whether or not the bags will arrive by my cabin, but I'll find out soon enough, I guess. The bags are being collected tomorrow, so I've packed them today. There still seems to be an awful lot of stuff left to pack, including both dinner suits and dress shirts. I've tried to split stuff between the three sets of luggage, just in case.

There's still quite a bit to do before I go. After the bags have gone, I need to clean the house, defrost the fridge and freezer. The fridge will be turned off, but the freezer won't. I'm waiting for a replacement lens to arrive, as my other new one just wasn't right. I couldn't even see to text, so fingers crossed it arrives in time. I need to get a haircut and I have dinner with Jan, Pete and Angie on Friday. Hoey is coming to lunch tomorrow. If my bags have gone we'll go out, if not, I'm not sure what we'll eat as my stocks are running low. I also need to charge up all the electricals soon. And of course on Saturday I have the hire car to collect.

Not surprisingly the P&O board is getting very busy and I posted the 2,500th entry!
