This morning I woke up to find messages from home on my phone. I swiped in and read them, and was surprised to see a video of my gorgeous niece Tessa. Last night I woke quite a few times.... Not because of noise, or light, but because I felt like I was still moving from side to side on the ship. However, as soon as I woke up and realised that I was all tucked up in my nice big cushy bed.... I sat up, stopped my head from rocking, laid back down and was able to fall back to sleep again. This morning I woke up..... and I place emphasis on the word WOKE. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I was lucky enough to sleep like a log last night!!! I think it helped that the ship motor, which according to the sound that could be heard from my cabin is equivalent to a jumbo jet engine, was not operating last night!! Could also be the fact that 3 nights of hardly any sleep may have led me to be so exhausted that I could have slept through a cyclone.... Either way...

Well, would you be surprise if I told you that I had another crap nights sleep last night.... Probably not!!! You guessed it, ships motors powering up overnight is enough to wake the dead.... So for me it was just another night of no sleep on the Galápagos cruise!!! But nothing was going to dampen my day today..... as today was giant Galápagos tortoise day.... hopefully!! I didn't want to put a mozza on it... as everytime I have really wanted to see somethin...

Another night of hardly any sleep. Again the ships motor started in the middle of the night. Holy crap.... It is so loud that you honestly think that the boat is hitting an ice burg!!! Well at least we have had our fire drill and we know what to do. Another thing I know, is that there is enough room on the life rafts for everyone on the boat..... So no titanic issues with the Galápagos Legend!!! It's reassuring to know that it's not only my cabin that shake...
