Hello everyone! Well since it has been awhile since I've actually written a blog entry by myself without doing one with Melanie I thought today would be a good day! Today is really a lazy day in Germany! I slept in till noon! The shades that Jo and Jason have on their house make the rooms pitch dark. I think the US should have these as well! If it wasn't for Melanie coming to wake me up I think I would have slept all day! When I came downstairs Jason had made omelets and JoAan had set the table with fruit, toast, and juice. It was so great to have a home-cooked breakfast!

After helping clean up the breakfast mess it was time for me to finish up washing clothes and for us to figure out our packing situation! I am not going to pay 140 euro for an extra suitcase! We are going to send a box home with extra things from the base. Hopefully this will help with the overweight situation! Never again will I complain about spending $25 on a checked suitcase again! Once that situation was figured out I finished getting ready for the day and now just relaxing while Jo and Jason continue unpacking their house. Although it really looks put together quite well considering they just got their boxes a couple days ago!

Well this afternoon we are going to head to Spangdahlem Air Force Base to pick up some groceries and to check out where Jason works. Then we will head to a castle that is a few miles from JoAan's house near a river since today it is in the upper 80's! Then tonight we will be having a BBQ at the Fuhrer's for Jason's birthday!

It's great to see Jo and Jason and be with family although I was sad to see everyone from the trip leave. Thank you everyone for a great 6 weeks!
