GERMAN DELIGHTS

Berlin is pretty cool. We arrived today via Dresden, and had a quick drive around some of the sights before heading to a beer hall for dinner. I cranked some Ramms+ein on the bus to fire me up on the way into the city. Du! Du hast!

Tonight we had a very German meal - pork knuckle bigger than my fist and massive 1L steins of beer (bigger than my head). Neither Nell or I usually like pork, but this was awesome. It was also awesome to see beer wenches running around with 300 (seriously) plates and steins in their hands.

Tomorrow we are going to have a proper walk around all of the touristy spots at our own pace.

So far the standard German beer has taken the standard Czech beer's mother for a dirty night out and hasn't called her back.
