The countdown has now started in ernest, less than a month before we are leaving our home and family again. On March 30th we are flying to Los Angeles via Brisbane, we will then get an internal flight to St Louis to see our friend and be reunited with our bike once again. We have already booked the bike in at Gateway BMW to have some work done to it and then we will be off and heading south to hopefully find some warm weather, it has been bitterly cold in St Loui...

We are getting close now! Ben is coming with us and we have just packed the two bikes in their crates, no turning back now! We have our Visas sorted for Mongolia and are still waiting for Russia and Kazakhstan. We have paid for our air fares and our hotel in Pusan, we have had some of our vaccinations and we only have 4 weeks before we are due to leave, before we know it we will be on the plane. Julie and I are still in our planning stages, but everything is slowly coming together. We are booked to leave Australia on the 24th of April 2011. The bike is pretty much all sorted, we are just waiting to get a new rear tyre when they become available.
