We've been home now for six months and I thought it was time to write another blog to keep our followers informed and up to date.
As we have been home I have chosen a cover photo my sister sent us from England, I hope she doesn't mind.
Since getting home the bike has been shipped to Melbourne and is now resting in my mothers garage waiting to one day continue its adventure.
Since we have been home in Perth our daughter has stopped working for us and has moved out into the wheat belt to start a new life with a new man, while Michael works with our son-in-law to get things back on-track at work.
In our travels we have learnt that there are no certainties in life and that things change and happen for a reason.
Once things have settled down on our home front we have vowed to continue our adventure, we haven't ridden around the world until we ride the bike into our driveway! This most likely will happen next year, but only time will tell.
In the mean time we enjoy hearing from the friends we have made around the world and often reflect on our adventures by looking at our photos and telling friends, new and old, of our travels. We certainly enjoy hearing the plans others are making and hope that we can help with our experiences and knowledge. Michael's sister helps to keep our adventure in the front of our thoughts with her own photos and stories from her twelve month adventure in England.
One thing that is for sure is that we know that we have been lucky to have had the opportunity to travel as we have and to have met so many interesting and great people from so many different walks of life, but this has only fueled our want to continue, so stay tuned, we will ride again!!!

Jan Mac Happy to read that summary, to hear where you are in body and heart. Made me smile to see my canal boat picture used : )
Mum/Marion Good to read your update and let us know your thoughts and ideas ! Hard to believe its 6 months since you returned to Perth.
Edmundo Hi Michael and Julie!!!!! What a pleasure to learn you are planning one more ride around somewhere in this small world! After your incredible 3 years around the world, you may feel like Jim Carey in "The Truman Show" - ...the world is not enough. It was great to meet you and I hope we will meet again! Summer is opening the windows this part of Canada (some snow still moves around in northern areas...) and I am kind of behind at getting my horse ready for another ride. No destination yet, may be the Canadian Rockies this time... OK, a big hug and all the best! edmundo
