There really is so much to see in Budapest - the majority of the landmarks are lit up brilliantly at nights, really make for some spectacular pictures.
The Parliament Building is particularly stunning, there is no problem to walk right up to it - it's quite a beautiful sight and for those more skilled with a camera than I am, there are some quite lovely pictures to have in your collection if you were that way inclined.
Our guide takes us all over Budapest. Its the best way to see all the sights and having Otto as our man is a belting idea. We head into the centre first of all, there is a festival of some sort going on over the weekend so some things are not quite as accessible as we'd like, but we manage to get around and see all sorts.
The Hungarian Parliament Building as I said is particularly nice, as was Matyas Church and the National Gallery, all beautifully lit up and stunning. If you get the chance to get up onto the Buda side of the city and head up the hills, there are some amazing views over Pest and the Danube - its an effort granted, but well worth it once you get there.
We spend hours driving around both Buda and Pest, its a late night, and we get back at almost midnight having started our drive around at about 6, but it was actually worth every minute.
