The journey to the Burger King in Besci is no problem although there are quite a few connections to negotiate via metro, rail and bus.

Budapest is a proper big place, but to get around is not as complex as it sounds. Every journey costs 350HUF which is about £0:85 (€1) so it's no budget breaker getting from A to B.

To get to Burger King I get the metro to Bettyyany ter and then some old train to a place called - oh for the life of me I can't remember and it's not really relevant, the H5 train is old and rickety but efficient and no problem. The 218 bus is very modern and clean - it's my last journey on the trip, and will take me to Burger King. It leaves at 1, takes 15 mins (costs 350 HUFs of course).

5 minute walk .......... and I'm there, I've made it. The journey to a degree ends there !

I say to a degree, I'll get some Budapest bits on here later, but I only ever worked on getting to Budapest for 1:30 which is the title of the blog, so entries from here are few and far between.
