MeznG. In the air, on the road, river or sea again
Well this is it! It's cruise day! We had a lovely surprise this morning when we were able to Skype with Charlotte and Jenna. Technology is a wonderful thing! At about 2.30pm we are checked into our cruise and board the Eurodam, our home for the next 20 nights and a very comfortable home it is going to be. Our suite has a verandah and a couch and even a bath! We are on deck 7 and are a long way up from the water. Beats me how these things float! Our cabin steward is from Bali and his name is Gday. Probably not how you spell it but its definitely his name because I had to ask him twice to be sure! We watched Copenhagen disappear into the distance from the Lido Deck before going to explore the rest of the ship. So many lounges, bars, restaurants etc. and activities!!!! The gym is extremely well equipped and cater for all types, they even have spin classes so you would be right at home Liz Turnbull. Given the display of food on offer I think we will have to have a serious gym session everyday. Tonight we dined ala casual in the Lido Restaurant and had steak and vegetables and we bought a bottle of red wine which we are now enjoying on our balcony. Tomorrow is a cruising day but there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied if you wish. If the sun is shining I can see myself finding a sun lounge and hanging out by the pool. ,
