We did a 1 hour drive around Prague this morning so that Milton and Liz got a brief look at this gorgeous city. After a bit of angst the driver finally arrived to take them to the airport . They are in the air and on the way home. Was sad to see them go as we have had such a great time together.
After seeing the city from the quick tour this morning we are keen to see more.
We walk through the now busy streets and cross the Vltava River via the Vitezna Bridge into Lesser Town. Here we walk through Petrin Park where there are interesting memorials to the people who suffered and or died during the
communist regime. We take the funicular railway to the top of the park where there is a beautiful garden and the view of the city and Castle on the way back down is fantastic. After a refreshment stop we walk across the Charles Bridge which connects the Old Town and Little Quarter. We loved walking up and down and around the little streets. Dinner tonight is at Celnice, a restaurant In an old brewery. After dinner we take a walk as it is a very mild evening and Prague is so pretty at night .
