Big day playing tourist today in Edinburgh. After breakfast we begin our adventures aboard the hop on hop off bus. Best way to get a good overview of the city and surrounds. We got off at Palace of Holyrood House which is the official summer palace for the current royal family in Scotland. Farewelled Pitlochry this morning after a lovely breakfast at our hotel. Our first stop this morning was at Scone Castle. Again a very majestic driveway reveals beautiful grounds and castle building. This is the place where the Coronation of Kings of Scotland took place. The tour takes us through many rooms which house a great display of the furniture of the time.
