That's right...We've done the Taj!!! We've been waiting to put that picture up for ages. Absolutely splendiferous monument- lived up to every expectation. There's little else to say; it is truly magnificent. Spent the entire day hanging out on the lush green lawns staring at it. It is like being in a bubble - a complete paradise stuck right in the middle of a big, dirty city in Northern India. Totally transcends all the commercialism and tourism, infact, despite all the people, I couldn't imagine a more peaceful day. The Taj sort of exubes tranquility.

Heading off to Jaipur tonight on the train. Decided to give the buses a miss because the road from Agra to Jaipur is one of the most notorious in India for head on collisions between buses and trucks, which apparently happen quite often! Very reassuring. We met some Australians who said they saw 4 head ons in a day up there. The train will be just fine.

More soon...I am about to try and put some more photos up so keep your eyes peeled! Starting to feel very at home with the travelling thing now, complete pro at carrying my life around with me tortoise style. Love it. And love you all. MWAH!!!!!
