Rode shuttle to Belingham. Almost missed the bus this morning. We reserved spots on Air Porter but were waiting at the Aeroporter space at the airport. Thanks to a helpful agent we made it just in time. Our driver, Tony, gave us great touring information for the week ahead. He is a native of Bellingham. Driver the bus 5 days a week and works at Safeway part time. He left us at Bellingham International where we rented a Chevy Malibu.

Stopped at Whatcom Falls Park. It is a local park in Bellingham with some nice water falls.

Checked into the airport Holiday Inn and toured Fairhaven, a town contigous with Bellingham. The town was founded in the 1800s and grew since it was a convenient area where the railraod met in coming sailboats.
