Travel Outside The Bubble
We had a bit of a frustrating day. We had intended to drive up Skagit Mountain using an 8 mile fire road. The road was dirt and gravel with large pot holes. We drove up for about 45 minutes until it got so rugged that our Chevy Malibu could not pass. We then set our sites on finding an Eagle Preserve. With no cell signal or satellite navigation due to the mountains and tall trees we could not find the preverve. We dis find a nice spot on the Skagit River to relax by for a few minutes. We then headed for Larrabee State Park where we will spend the next few nights. We were able to grab lunch and eat it at ae elevates overlook above Puget Sound.
