We spent the day in Qaqortoq, Greenland a beautiful village with 3200 people. With the arrival of our ship we more than doubled the population. Spent the day navigating through the Prince Christian Sound. This was a bonus side trip that the Cruise Director John set up for us. We entered the Fjord around 9:00am and cruised through it until around 4:30. We saw 6 glaciers and many ice bergs. The views were stunning. We also saw a couple of seals. First of 2 days at sea between Iceland and Greenland. We started the day working out and then spent the rest of the day relaxing around the ship. During the day we saw some dolphins and several times people thought they saw whales, but we didn't get any pictures. Today we arrived in Iceland. We took the Glacier Safari excursion and had a great time! We started by climbing in our super truck and visited Thingvellir where the North American and European plates meet. It was a very interesting area. Making our way from Belfast to Iceland today with a day at sea. We started the day working out and then spent the day alternating between eating and playing. We played ping pong and bean bag toss. Tonight we went to the show and saw a comedic magician. We are making great time and will be in Iceland 3 hours ahead of schedule. We are looking forward to spending the day tomorrow in Iceland.
