La Paz Waterfall Park, Costa Rica

After coffee we visited Paos Volcano and then went to La Paz Waterfall Park which is a privately held ecological park. We saw lots of local animals,birds and reptiles. I'll post some more pics separately. We also we able to see some incredible waterfalls.

Today started early as we left the hotel at 6:45am for an all day tour. We started at a coffee plantation where we had breakfast and learned all about growing coffee and roasting it! The picture is of Gary enjoying a breakfast blend of Costa Rican coffee.

San Jose, Costa Rica

Today we spent the morning enjoying the resort we have been staying at since we arrived in Costa Rica. This afternoon we traveled to San Jose where we will stay the next 2 nights. The Double Tree upgraded our room and left us this plate of fruit and a couple of bottles of water. This is a very nice hotel. Gotta love the warm chocolate chip cookies they give on arrival.

Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

Today we took a tour to Manuel Antonio National Park! We had a great time there looking at all types of animal, reptiles, insects and plants. The guide gave me lots of time to take photos! This is a photo of a white faced monkey. We spent quite a bit of time watching them. They were located right inside the trees of a beautiful beach.

Tortuga Island, Costa Rica, Costa Rica

We took a Catamaran to Tortuga Island. This is the last island before you reach the Pacific Island. We had a great time on the catamaran and a great time snorkeling and enjoying the island.
