Salamat Detang!! (means welcome in malaysia!!)

So we left Singapore now...the rumours were true...it is in fact VERY CLEAN!! Im not suprised since there is a 500 dollar fine if ur caught spitting, littering, j-walking, not flushing the toilet, chewing gum and displaying scenes of homosexuality!! Its really funny when trying to cross the road, you have a time limit of like 20 seconds and a timer comes on with a countdown!!

We arrived to "KL" a couple of nights ago after taking a coach from Singapore which took 6 hours...slept the whole
way we were still tired after a late night from a night out in Clarke Quay in Singapore with some friends that stay there. The coach was very comfy, reclining seats..ac..everything, apart from the fact that the driver was a bit loony, he couldn't
speak english so kept shouting when he wanted to tell us something lol! Our hostel here is very nice, quite quiet but the staff are v friendly, and they have some amazing art in every room!
Since being here we've checked out the petronas towers, which are very impressive, ive found a new respect for architects and engineers! They dont look like the tallest twin towers in the world but once
you get up close to them they are huge!! We got there at 10ish and found out that there were only tickets left for the 5.30 tour to the skybridge so spent that
time window shopping, checking out the art gallery and we found a cinema in the towers so decided to watch spiderman 3 :D! (Ive never seen such a busy cinema!!)
After this we headed for BB Plaza and the markets and started the haggling!!
Today we went to the Batu Caves. There are like 272 steps to go up until you get to them...very tiring, gud exercise i guess, whilst tryin to dodge the monkeys on the way up!
I also held a snake there (you can see how I felt about this from the pictures lol) was very heavy!! From here we went to central market and the markets on petaling street and did some more serious haggling!
Tommorow were going to an art gallery that the hostel managers husband owns (his paintings are around are hostel and are soo nice (I know exactly where to come for my art work for when I open up my dental surgery hehe!)
and after that were heading for the cameron highlands!
