Vientiane was pretty lame compared to the rest of Laos, there werent taht much to do there apart from go to the buddha park, which is what we did on our second day. We hired motorbikes and drove down there, it was like 25km away from Vientiane. Its a really nice place, its pretty new, bout 50 years old and it consists of statues of buddha and other hindu gods. Hey guys! Sorry for the late blog entry! Im actually in Vientiane now (capital of Laos)! We were in Luang Prabhang for about 4-5 days, its such a lazy chilled out town its easy to just do nothing all day and relax! I really loved this place. Its got a mix of french-lao feeling to it. We got a lao massage which kiiiiiillled!!!! and then a manicure and a pedicure to make up for the pain! We went to a few temples, the national royal museum and to this amazing water...

Hey everyone!!! So Im in Luang Prabhang now....fiiiiiiiiiinaly! It was a longgg journey to get here! We left Chiang Mai from our hostel at like 830 in the morning in an ac minivan with 8 others and drove up to the border crossing between thailand and Laos.
