Hey everyone!!!

 This is just a quick entry to say that we have arrived safe and well in Singapore!!! It was a LONG but good journey! We got to ''Little India" which is where our hostel...the famous Inncrowd is. Little India is just that....a little India!!! We dropped our bags and thought we'd walk round the area for a while...at this point it was about 11ish at night and find somewhere to eat as we were starving! We ended up eating at this nice little cafe just near the hostel and had a nice tiger beer and some interesting vegetarian pizza (I say interesting because it was the funniest looking pizza I have ever seen!!! It was clearly homemade with a LOT of pasta/indiany tomato sauce, bit of cheese and stuck in the microwave lol...nevertheless it did taste good!!

Today, after an okish sleep we got up and were about to set off to town just when it started raining!!!!!!!!! Not just normal rain but thunder lightning the full works, was very warm tho! So we ended up chillin at the hostel with some other backpackers,  reading the lonely planet and watchin CSI for about an hour! When the rain quietened down we set off for Orchad Road - the Oxford Street equivalent!!! Its very nice, I found that there was not much difference in the prices of things, only a little bit cheaper than UK! After this we headed for Chinatown, saw the eldest hindu temple in Singapore, which was quite small and just wandered through the markets!!!  Were back at the hostel right now as our feet are killing from all the walking we've done!! After a lil nap were off to the Raffles Hotel to have a Singapore Slinger and then going to the Night Safari at Singapore Zoo which Ive heard lots of good things about so am really looking forward to!!

I'll most probably write my next blog when Im in Malaysia - haven't put up any photos yet but thought Id do that tommorow after we've seen all the sights in Singapore!!
