A beautiful wild life resort, an amazing big pool, great safaris with leopards and elephants was waiting for us...on the description :( The room were sill nice. Very big, nice bathrooms and 20m to the beach. Food was ok, staff very rude. Had a big argument with the manager, as we wanted to have dinner with our driver. Not allowed. Ella, tea growing country! After a long and windy drive up hill - we arrived in our guesthouse in Ella! We have booked a little van incl driver, who will take us round for the next week. Its just so much easier with all the luggage and of course the 2 small kids. Our first stop was "Kandy". Arrived in Colombo, after a not so nice flight, and I have done lots of flights in my life and can say: this one was pretty s***....! The women next to me had very bad flue and cried all time, as she felt super sick! The guy behind me, must have been incredibly nervous as he constantly twitched with his legs against my seat- I turned around 20 times or pushed back- HE CUD NOT CARE LESS.
