Today we went to two underground churches, they were amazing. Then we went to Faye's underground house built by 3 women using picks, shovels and wheelbarrows. After that we went "noodling" for opals (this means pick around through stones and rubble looking for opals), we didn't find any! Headed off up the road to Coober Pedy today. Just a lazy 6.5 hour drive!! Kids travelled well - Thanks Kaz for the lollipops, they got us through the middle of the drive! Stopped at Pimba for fuel and Glendambo for lunch. Unfortunately the pub couldn't serve us any food as the supply truck had broken down yesterday. Had a bit of trouble pegging down the tent as the ground is all rock, so we are all bunked in the main part of the tent - very cosy.
