Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur
Strike a pose....any pose
Both us and the camera had the battery charged and it was off to sample some Kuala Lumpur shopping malls.
We had read a lot about them before coming out so had high expectations. The first place we visited turned out to be a designer mall compiling of every big name you can think of.
Not within our budget, so we moved on to the next mall called The Pavilion......
Again, it was all big name brands with big price tags to follow, however, there was a fashion show taking place in the middle of the mall so we soon found ourselves in the heart of it as we were invited down to the white ribbon seats surrounding the walk way.
Was pretty bizarre and certainly one of those......things you don't see every day moments.
We were wandering aimlessly around the shops so decided to head to the Petronas Towers.Another one of the amazing sights we've seen on the trip.Buildings were fantastic and we then had the dilemma of trying to fit us in a photo with the towers in the background.
We were pulling every move under the sun and the tourists seem to think Colin was a bit of pro at the old photography so was soon putting other locals into poses of holding up the towers etc.
Our hotel bill would have been paid if he had been charging for taking everyone's picture.
After the Petronas Towers we took a trip back to the hotel, got changed, before heading out to a pub to meet up with some old friends who moved out to Kuala Lumpur about 18 months ago.
The plan was to have a few drinks and then go for a nice meal, however, that plan was soon thrown out the window and it looked like another messy night was on the cards.
After 4 or 5 pints, hat messy night was finally confirmed when we moved onto another bar to order a litre of Absolute Vodka for the table..........
The rest of today's blog cannot be completed due to being a big blur.........................
