Just arrived in Thailand after our epic adventure which started with Ian checking if the other scousers on the flight were reds or blues....I sat in the middle protecting the everton fans from Ian. The flight was fabulous although when you get to the fourth hour and Ian asks are we landing soon only then realising he is on a 13 hour flight you know you need to bring out the big entertainment artilery! His next question was is it hot in Thailand and his face when I told him 26 degrees C is their winter and we are heading into the start of their summer was needless to say a picture. Anyway we arrived in two pieces still Mr and Mrs Nickson, Singapore airport where we stopped off on the way between Manchester and Phuket is excellent - although Ian defied the no chewing gum rule! Phuket airport was madness, hot, lots of people and chaos - this is where the sun, sea and sweat started! Our hotel in Rawai Bay - Evason is beautiful, we have our own pool, can see the sea and islands from our room and the people are brilliant (so is the minibar!). Off to bed for nap you watch we'll be up in the middle of the night wanting breakfast!
